Ways I can pay off the loan?

We have taken every step to make it convenient for you to make repayments in numerous ways to us. You can make over the counter payments, online payments, Kiosk payments and use certain apps as well.

Will I be able to get a higher amount than my first loan?

Yes, generally if you maintain a good credit score with us, you will be offered a higher loan amount than the first loan. To maintain a good credit rating, you need to make sure you repay your loan on time on or before the due date. 

The more loans you take and settle on time, the more money will be offered to you.

How long does it take to receive the money from the loan application?

Generally, once your loan is approved upon verification, within 2 hours your money will be credited to your Bank account provided in the application process.

Am I eligible for a loan?

You are eligible to apply for a loan if you are 
  1. A citizen of Sri Lanka
  2. Residing in Sri Lanka
  3. Between the ages of 20 to 55 years old
  4. Currently employed or generating a steady income

Can I get another loan?

Yes, if you have successfully repaid your loan on time you can apply for a repeat loan. To apply for a repeat loan, you need to visit our website and go to our personal portal by clicking on the “Login” button, there you will be able to select a new amount and tenor of your choosing.

What happens when I pay late?

If you are unable to pay your loan on time or before the due date, you will be charged a late payment fee. If you are unable to pay on time, it would be best if you could inform our collection agent prior upon receiving calls from us. We would assist you in this regard and see how we can be of assistance.

When is my loan due?

You can check when your loan is due during the application process, or upon approval you will receive an email with the agreement attached which will state the loan due date. If you are still in trouble finding it, you may reach us through our general line or general email for details.

How to pass photo verification?

Dear Customer! Photo verification is one of the ways to identify a person's identity. The goal is to prevent possible fraudulent activities using other people's personal data. 

Please follow the instructions below

  • Your face should be clearly visible;
  • Hold the NIC clearly where we see the front side of it;
  • Should not be of any other objects or pictures of other people;
  • Should not have any glare and should be clearly visible;
  • When taking your selfie picture, please be mindful about the lighting in the room/surrounding.

The system will automatically check for compliance of documents with the person's identity.
After the verification is completed, you will receive a notification that the process is complete.

Can I pay the loan early?

You can pay off your loan at any time before the due date, you would not be charged an early payment fee or any other fee if you want to settle your loan early. You can visit our website - loan repayments section to understand where to make payments. Please kindly note that upon settling your loan, retain your receipts with you. You may need to send a copy of this receipt to our WhatsApp number stated in our website

Other conditions to apply for a loan?

Apart from the basic eligibility listed above, you need to have a valid national identification document to apply for a loan. You may be asked to provide these details during the application process and will be required to upload two pictures (front & back) of your national identification document.

If my loan is approved, how will I receive the information?

Once your loan is approved, you will receive our decision via an SMS or Email, or sometimes both mediums. You also receive a call before the approval by our in house verification team that would assess and verify the information provided during the application process. 

How much is the fee for my loan?

You will be charged a service fee per day when you obtain a loan from us according to the repayment date selected. There will be no additional fees incurred if you pay on or before the due date. All fees will be clearly display to you before you take a loan from us.

In which regions does the company provide services?

OnCredit is open to all Sri Lankan’s island-wide regardless of their regions.

How do I know the minimum payment amount?

You can speak to one of our representatives to help you to find out the minimum amount

How do I know how much to pay?

Your payment details along with due dates are listed on the agreement sent to you via sms/email. You can also visit our website and log in to your personal portal to understand details of your current active loan. In case you are still unable to find out how much to pay, you can call one of our customer service agents on our general line or inquire about it when you get a call from our collection agents.

I applied for a loan but didn't receive the SMS confirmation code?

If you do not get the SMS OTP code to your phone you have the ability to request for another in the application process itself. If you still have not received an OTP code, please check your number once again.
